Since inception, MMG and its operating companies have completed a series of strategic acquisitions that have expanded scale, reach, and capabilities across Canada’s media landscape. Each acquisition is evaluated through a disciplined lens, with a focus on long-term integration and value creation.


Bell Media’s Astral Lifestyle Network

In 2025, UB Media acquired Bell Media’s Astral Lifestyle advertising network, adding more than 1,500 digital screens across 500+ locations to its national platform. The acquisition significantly strengthened its presence in the Campus and Restobar verticals and expanded its reach in premium, high-traffic environments.


Pattision Residential

In 2025, UB Media acquired Pattison Outdoor’s residential network, adding more than 1,500 screens across 500+ condo buildings and expanding its portfolio to over 4,500 digital screens nationwide. The acquisition further strengthened its scale and presence in premium residential environments.


MaxTV Media

In 2021, UB Media acquired MaxTV Media, a residential and condo-based digital network, adding more than 1,500 screens across 500+ high-rise buildings to its portfolio. The acquisition expanded its residential footprint with unique interactive touchscreen capabilities within premium residential environments, with inventory available on all major programmatic exchanges.


Fokus Media

In 2014, UB Media acquired Fokus Media’s national DOOH campus advertising network, adding coverage across more than 54 Canadian campuses to its portfolio. The acquisition strengthened its reach among the highly sought-after 17–26 demographic in post-secondary academic environments nationwide.


KB Media

In 2012, UB Media acquired regional network KB Media, which specialized in static and digital out-of-home assets. The acquisition added more than 1,000 Restobar placements and marked UB Media’s first expansion into digital screens, evolving its traditional static OOH network to include digital capabilities.
